Step Change Studios received the Sport and Recreation Alliance Award for Diversity and Inclusion. The award recognises organisations that support under-represented groups.
Founder Rashmi Becker was recognised for outstanding achievement at the Anna Kennedy Autism Hero Awards 2023 in the Lifetime Achievement category.
Step Change Studios received the One Dance UK Community Champion Award in 2024. The award recognises an organisation using dance to strengthen and build communities.

The short film Breaking Ballroom was chosen as part of the official selection for the Manhattan Film Festival.
Rashmi Becker was a Finalist in these awards which 'recognise Britain’s most enterprising and talented black, Asian and minority ethnic high achievers'.
Step Change Studios received the One Dance UK Award for Innovation. The award recognises the most ground-breaking approach to dance.
Step Change Studios won the Health and Wellbeing Award in association with BBC Radio London. The Awards recognise the 'best of the best' of grassroots sport and physical activity.
Breaking Ballroom was chosen as finalist in the Courage Film Festival, Berlin. The festival highlights filmmakers who use their work to take a stand and fight for what they believe is right.
Step Change Studios received the Active Award for Inclusion in 2018 and again in 2020.
Rashmi Becker was a recipient of the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Innovation at the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards.
